2013: A vintage to celebrate
Recently several of the 2013 Tenor wines have been awarded their highest scores ever by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. We are excited to announce these wines are now available for purchase online, and will ship out starting the week of Oct 3rd, 2016. As you know, we make a very limited amount of wine at Tenor, and each one of these wines is a result of the meticulous process we go through in selecting the barrels we use to put together each one of our 100% varietal wines. Read below for the reviews of each one of the wines which will be released this coming weekend.

2013 Tenor Merlot (93-95pts)
"The 2013 Merlot looks incredible. Medium to full-bodied, ripe, mouth-filling and seamless, with big structure, it offers lots of blackcurrants, crushed herbs and mineral-like aromas and flavors. There’s a lot of tannin, but the purity of fruit is stunning. Note, this is the first 100% Merlot this estate has done since 2008." - Jeb Dunnuck of Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. $58

2013 Tenor Cabernet Sauvignon (91-93pts)
"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon sports an inky purple color to go with lots of graphite, chocolate, licorice and black currant fruit. Full-bodied, firm, focused and slightly reserved, with not too much expansiveness on the palate (which is common in the vintage), it still has exceptional purity of fruit, good balance and a great finish. Made from 100% Cabernet that will see 18-20 months in mostly new French oak, it should have an easy 15+ years of longevity." - Jeb Dunnuck of Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. $68
100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Only 171 cases produced. To order, click here.

2013 Tenor Malbec - (93pts)
"The inky purple (Malbec rarely lacks for color in Washington) 2013 Malbec gives up lots of liquid blackberry, blueberry, sappy green herbs and crushed rock in its medium to full-bodied, polished, thrillingly pure profile. I love its tannin quality and it will cruise for a decade in the cellar. This is a first-rate Malbec!" - Jeb Dunnuck of Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. $58
