2020 Tenor Sauvignon Blanc

The 2020 Tenor Sauvignon Blanc was crafted from two vineyards along the Royal Slope AVA of the Columbia Valley: Stillwater Creek and La Reyna Blanca. Farmed using sustainable practices, the vines were limited to one or two clusters per shoot for maximum concentration. They were then hand-harvested in the early Fall of 2020. Upon arrival at the winery, each cluster was hand-sorted and berry-sorted. The free run juice was fermented and aged in new French oak barrels. The wine was bottled in late June, 2022. Only 118 cases were produced.

Tasting Notes

Medium straw in color, the 2020 Tenor Sauvignon Blanc leads with aromas of fresh grass, gooseberry, green apple and kiwi. Its light to medium-bodied mouthfeel shows well-integrated oak balanced with bright acidity, providing focus to the flavors of white peach, nectarine, lime zest, jalapeƱo and passionfruit. The long finish provides lingering flavors of stone fruit, minerality and flowers.
