Tenor’s 2013 Columbia Valley Chardonnay is up with the best in Washington. Beautifully clean and crisp, with notes of white peach, white flowers, brioche and tinges of minerality, it’s medium-bodied, nicely focused and decidedly delicious. This went completely through malolactic fermentation and the estate commented that they increased the level of lees stirring to help with the texture. Count me a fan and this clean, crisp and yet still textured Chardonnay will drink well for at least 2-3 years.
