Varietal Composition

100% Chardonnay

Tasting Notes

Explosive lemon curd, crème brulée, citrus zest and white flowers. Swirling brings up peaches and other stone fruits and a light touch of complex baking spices. The palate is expansive, with great detail and fresh notes of citrus, graham cracker spice and lightly toasted marshmallow. Big and energetic but light on its feet.

Awards & Accolades

"Tenor’s 2013 Columbia Valley Chardonnay is up with the best in Washington. Beautifully clean and crisp, with notes of white peach, white flowers, brioche and tinges of minerality, it’s medium-bodied, nicely focused and decidedly delicious. This went completely through malolactic fermentation and the estate commented that they increased the level of lees stirring to help with the texture. Count me a fan and this clean, crisp and yet still textured Chardonnay will drink well for at least 2-3 years."
