2015 Tenor Cabernet Sauvignon

Aromatics of muddled raspberry, plum skin, vanilla bean and spice. A wave of blackberry, black currants and black tea adds complexity. Swirling brings up a sweetness to the fruits while adding a dried strawberry note and a vibrant energy. The palate is bright and beautifully structured with remarkable acidity balancing the ripe black fruits.

"My favorite of the trio is the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 100% varietal and spent 21 months in 67% new French oak. It avoids the volatile character found too often in these wines and offers pretty plum and blueberry fruits, spice box, hints of chocolate and graphite to go with a juicy, medium to full-bodied moderately tannic style on the palate. It has plenty of charm and should keep for 10-12 years."
