Gorgeous sweet smoke, spice and cassis mixed with a plum and blueberry puree. Lightly roasted coffee and cocoa powder add to the nose with some air. The mouthfeel is absolutely stunning, with opulent textures, never ending fruit and flawless tannins. This is a purists Cabernet and it certainly will not disappoint.

Leading off the 2013s, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in stainless steel and then aged 19 months in 77% new French oak. Showing the focused, more narrow style of the vintage, this medium to full-bodied Cabernet exhibits outstanding notes of charcoal, wood smoke, black fruits and a pan dripping-like meatiness to go with ripe tannin, good mid-palate depth and a great finish. Give it a few years and drink bottles through 2033
